Am I the only who who thinks they are overreacting a little?
What stops your instance from fingerprinting its users and selling that data? Even without explicit calls to google analytics or similar tools, you can do a lot with http requests and regular browser headers. I’m not saying that lemmy.zip does this, but lemmy isn’t free of tracking by design, is it?
Reddit is bigger, so it’s more diverse and less hateful. But behavioral patterns are the same imo.
I think that for a civil war, you need an armed force on the protesters’ side, which they don’t seem to have. All radicals who are willing to spill blood are on Trump’s side. I’m not an expert, of course, but if you needed one, you wouldn’t have asked here.
Just like lemmy, yet here we are. Sometimes we need to waste some time.
I feel like this about Linux news that are YouTube videos and no description text in the post.
For real. Know your audience lol.
“smh” serves the same purpose here.
Just don’t break it smh.
If you go to the bank or convenience store or if someone calls you you’re still fucked.
Yeah, and even if you know the basics, you’re fucked as soon as the conversation goes off the standard script. Then imagine going to a doctor with chatgpt.
It depends on your goals.
We’ve improved our mobile app. Now you have to register with no benefits for you whatsoever.
I mean that ultimately it’s still youtube, just with a different frontend, and google will keep fighting and blocking them. The ultimate fuck would be a real independent competitor, but that ain’t happening.
It’s like saying “fuck coca cola, drink from a glass instead”.
Maybe there are 5% of channels that produce interesting ads, but:
False.
Youtube Music is pretty much just youtube with a different UI
Lmao, what? YouTube Music is essentially Spotify with the ability to add YouTube videos to your playlists. It has an enormous music library comparable to other streaming services, it’s not “youtube with a different ui”.
I see no difference between Mondays and other work days.
